Pistol Packing Momma OMG

When I started my bucket list shooting was on it.  Never did I dream that I would not only get my CWP (concealed weapons permit) but I would be shooting in the Steel Challenge and IDPA.  I am having a blast.  My Uncle Ted was big into shooting.  I remember the guns and how he took care and pride in them. I think it must be in my blood.  I also shoot trap.  Being outside in the fresh air with nature all around is awesome.  Beating my husband is always on my mind.  I am getting pretty good.  He doesn't mess with me.  After all, I am a pistol packing momma

OMG Golf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, golf is one sport that one day your hitting like tiger and the next you look like you’ve never played before.  My worst golf is when I play with my husband.  His worse game is when he is with me.  What gives?  For some reason he thinks when I talk out load that I am asking him for advice.  Not so…

I know why my ball went that way, because I hit it that way.  But I feel this need to say out loud my concerns.  I was not asking him personally what he thought.  Ok, I know this is small stuff but it seems to come into play every time. 

I also hate people who keep your score and theirs.  Unless I am playing in a tournament I don’t hit from be hide trees.  If I hit from the sand and if I miss twice, it’s a toss out.  I count one water ball and not the second that goes in the pond at the same place the first one went in.  After all, not playing for money or tour championship.   I love the game and do try to play well.  It’s supposed to be fun. 

I live on a golf course and have seen more golfers swear, hit clubs against the ground and not rake sand traps and swear that they are giving up on the game forever, until tomorrow.

OMG Mother's Day

A box came on my door step and what was inside was the best.  One dozen cake pop's from my first born. They are from Veronica's Treats.  The taste is heaven.  White and Milk Chocolate.   Something that taste this good should be a sin.  But, it's a special day and a special gift.

Happy Mothers Day to all mothers especially my daughters.  I remember my mom and all she taught me.  She was a hard person to please but I loved her so much and miss talking to her.   She was big on education and calling her at least once a week.  I don't think I would be where I am now without her.  

Another wonderful lady was my mother-in-law Jennie.  She was always there with advice and a hug.  So call the women in your life and tell them how much they mean to you.

I am now going to eat all the cake pop's.   HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Starting a Bucket List

Retired - Children gone - Living 24/7 with my husband, I started a list of things I want to do before I leave the money to the kids.  I started with learning to shoot a pistol.  Now I am hooked.  Going naked on a beach.  That took about 5 minutes to get used too.  Golfing and actually being good at it.  Teaching part-time (me time).  Not hooked to my husbands side.  Buying a convertible.  (awesome)  Buying something without looking at the price tag first.  Living more, worrying less and enjoying life.

I want to hear from you and what you would add to the list.  It's the OMG list.  Let's see what we come up with...
